The Return of the Paramour, new location of the PDF files.

I uploaded the story on uploaded.net, but there appear to be problems with it. Therefore, you can get the PDF file also from my google drive. The Return of the Paramour Chapter 1 - The paradox of freedom Chapter 2 - The legacy of paramours   Chapter 3 - What men want... Chapter 4 - The princess paramour   Chapter 5 - Role play is fun!   Chapter 6 - The gold cage Chapter 7 - Submission & consent, a thin line   Chapter 8 - Unbound   This is the original story. Since putting it online, I have been working on improving the text and the plot. That will eventually be a "second edition" of the story. Note: the second edition of the story is done.

Patent application (well, a fake one)

Disclaimer This is a draft that I made for fun. It was not truly filed. Alfredo Martin is a fictional character and C.E.S.C. is a fictional organization. For the (fake) patent draft, follow this link: Adult Pacifier and Muffler     Relation to the story This patent draft is inspired by my fiction ("The Return of the Paramour"). The story is intentionally vague, it does not list a single date. However, the first steps, by the illustrious organization "C.E.S.C.", supposedly happen in the 1980's (first ideas perhaps late 1970's). I imagined that the members of C.E.S.C., a group of about 12 men, were focused and determined, but not particularly wealthy or particularly skilled. There may be a dentist among them, or a civil engineer, or a music teacher, who knows. (Of one member, a bit of background is disclosed: he is a (possibly retired) fashion designer and the story suggests that he has sewing equipment at his home.) But presumably, not one of the...

Prior art

As I wrote before, I wanted the gag design for the story "The Return of the Paramour" to be realistic ("plausible" is the word I used earlier). Realistic in the sense that: 1) I think that it can be made and 2) that it functions well. Two persons wrote me that I should try to patent it. I do not intend to do so, but for fun, I started drafting a mock patent. And for that, I did a bit of research (with Google Patent search). What I found is intriguing... Gags from China I found two US patents for gags for BDSM play, a long list of patents for medical gags and an equally long list of patents for devices that have nothing to do with voice muffling, but also happen to be called gags, and then this list: CN203015899 U, Sound-reduction mask CN201515711 U, Closed muffling mask CN204169113 U, Singing practice sound insulation mask CN200959218 Y, Silencing mask CN101266787 A , A muffler for eliminating high speaking (singing) voice These are Chinese patents (t...

Experimental mouthpiece, first test

The gag design for the story "The Return of the Paramour", is fiction, but meant to be "plausible", meaning that I think that it can be made. Three criterions in the story are: it is effective, it is (reasonably) comfortable, it causes no harm when worn for long periods. In an earlier experiment , I found that noise reduction with 20 dB is achievable. Recently, I made an experimental mouthpiece, to check it for comfort. Despite its "rubber" appearance, it is made from stiff plastic (a material that I had lying around). When worn, the jaws are kept apart by roughly 40 mm. Observations It seals the mouth pretty well. The shape of this experimental mouthpiece is not optimal; it fits, but does not fit well. With a better fit, the sealing effect will be better too. Little or no discomfort after one hour of wear. The test person said that after 30 minutes she started forgetting she had in in her mouth and that after 45 minutes she had to r...

A brief test on gag effectiveness

I did an initial experiment on gag effectiveness. These are ballpark measures. 1. mouth stuffing I used a flexible sponge in the mouth and a ballgag to seal it. It manages to drop the sound volume by 10 dB. I think that this effect (better than I expected) is solely due to the mouth stuffing, as it reduces the resonance chamber of the mouth/nose cavity and blocks air flow through the mouth. Since the path through the nose is narrower than through an open mouth, there is also less sound waves that can travel through that same path. 2. nose tubes The same setup as as above, but with a cap over the mouth and nose and tubes for breathing. In the experiment, it dropped the volume by 2 dB. This is to be expected. High frequencies may be subdued because they cannot take the bend in the tubes, but low frequencies are not hindered by bends. The slight reduction is probably due to reduction of air flow. However, for a realistic (safe) gag, I should have used wider tubing. So I am e...

The Return of the Paramour, update

While drawing the illustrations, I kept on rewriting the individual chapters. A few chapters were redone completely. The intent of the story is that each chapter is self-contained, but so that the individual chapters don't say much. The real story is in the cross-links: a name that pops up in two different chapters, for example. In rereading chapter 8, it dawned to me that in this rewriting I broke such a connection, one that is important to get a grasp of what is the real topic of the story. I fixed this by making a minor modification to chapter 3. The link of the downloads below is now corrected. In addition, I have put all chapters in a ZIP file for a single download. Get it at: http://ul.to/jw5ktpbb The rewrites did leave a few unexplained "clues" in the illustration. For example, on page 48 (chapter 8), there is a green box in the trolley that has the caption "Exciter Trainer Kit", but the exciter is shown to come in the pink box. It is never expla...

The Return of the Paramour

This is a fictional illustrated story. Note: there is a second edition of the story. The description below refers to the first edition. A collection of eight short essays or reviews that all focus on a lifestyle where a woman remains in semi-permanent bondage. Each chapter is self-contained, but the story only makes sense when they are combined. Chapter 1 reviews a porn video producer that focuses a particular fetish. Link: http://ul.to/yr9kjgrx Chapter 2 looks into the origin of the women that were called "paramours" and how these were lawfully enslaved, although a cloak of euphemisms tried to obscure that fact. Then it fast-forwards to current time where a group of (mostly) men postulates that women need not necessarily be bound by law to serve as paramour. Link: http://ul.to/sfl72pra Chapter 3 reports on the discovery of another video by another porn producer, but there is something odd: the actresses disappeared and nobody seems to care. L...
